Meet The Staff

Alexis is a third-year MSW student at Tulane University. She has a passion for macro-level social work, currently involved in program development of CAFESW and grant writing for nonprofits. Her future goals include opening her own nonprofit to provide a wellness center to unhoused individuals in her local community. 

Lea is a recent graduate of Walden University. She has a passion for working with those in her community and provides counseling for runaway and foster youth. Her long-term goal is to open her own nonprofit.  

Elected two terms as Region B Director of the California Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. Retired full-time Adjunct Professor after 15 years and 2000 students, Clinician, Founder of 23Strong in California, Couples Therapist, Founder and Proctor of CAFESW, Curriculum Committee member, awarded two patents,  and Web Software Developer.
